The skies were blue but the weather was still chilly.

Snowy Day at Antero

I landed this big cutbow on a green scud.
You can't even see the mountains in the background.
Will and I were the only ones out on the lake today.
Does that tell you something???
Will is proud of his new boat.  This was taken at the boat ramp at Antero.
Then disaster struck on the way home.  Will's boat headed for the ditch, almost taking
Will and the pick-up with it.  Luckily Will was not hurt.
I was behind him with my pick-up and boat.  The roads were wicked!
Saw 4 other accidents off of Trout Creek Pass.

Run-off Has Started

Mick caught a nice brown on a yellow stone fly.
Jim caught a large rainbow on a two bit hooker.
The run-off is starting.  The water level has been rising each day.

More Water Than Fish

This is the new uniform for ArkAngler's guides.
Clinton sporting a big smile after landing a nice rainbow.
This cutbow had deformed lower jaw.
Clinton's quote of the day, "You hook them in the tail and they fight harder".
Lee tried to agree.
They did catch some small fish too.

This is a look at my boat at the put in.
Ross caught this big rainbow on a bead head pheasant tail.
Charlie caught this brown on his own famous two bit hooker.
We had to stop to warm up.
The fly of the day was the Black Double Gonga.
This is another one of Charlie's designs.
