Great Day at Antero

All of the snow in the top picture is the reason that Antero didn't get drained this year.
Many of the big rainbows are still in "spawning mode".
Did catch several nice sized browns.
The Arkansas River blew out today.  The run-off has started.

Hilarious Day on the River

Today brought more rain, snow, wind, and a very little sunshine.
However, the day was side-spliting from all the jokes and stories that Ray and Brian told all day.  The added bonus was that they caught fish!!  We continued the story telling over cocktails and dinner.  Thanks guys.

Columbine Blue Day

No blue skies, but Cindy's fingernails are blue.
Todd caught this rainbow at the 166 bridge.

We experienced rain, sleet, snow, wind, and a few minutes of calm weather in between the storms.  However,  the fish were feeding.

Black Foam Caddis

The black foam caddis was the fly of choice today.  The big fish threw the hook and is still swimming without getting its' photo taken.
