 Jujubaetis was the fly of the day.

 The AJ was the dropper of the day.

The water is still off color.  The fish are on the edges in slow moving water.

Up River Float

We caught fish on a dry/dropper set-up.  The dropper was the 2-bit hooker.

 Stacie caught the fish of the day.

Cottonwood Rapid

 A couple of weeks ago I was the designate fisherman on a rowing instruction day.

+/- 1100 cfs.

 The river rose to 1100 cfs today.  Along with this rise was non-catchable conditions.

 Wherever clean water was entering the river, we caught fish.

961 CFS.

 The Fish Spotter is checking out the high water.

The fish were next to the bank and they were eating the Red Two Bit Hooker.

A Beautiful Day on the River

 With the low water, the fish seemed to be more active.

 The blue winged popped about 10am.  The catching was on!!!

 The rainbows were hungry.

This is the 750 cfs water line (moss line).  The lower flows are short lived because the water is suppose to go up again tomorrow.

 A big hatch of blue wings occurred this afternoon.  We fished with double dries.

All morning the fish went after a stone fly.

Cold Morning

 15 degrees this morning, had to fight the ICE on the guides all day. The fish were hungry.

Branding Day

 I helped brand 122 calves today.

 The Fish Spotter got in a bite once in awhile.

 The younger generation took on the biggest calves.

The Fish Spotter and her best friend Julio finally settled down and just watched.

A Good Day On The River

 The water was high but clearer than it has been the past few days.

 We used a dry/dropper most of the day.

The 2-bit hooker was the go to fly again today.

Dirty Water

 Floated on a 60cfs bubble of dirty water all day.  The snow is melting upstream due to warm temperatures.

Larry said the fish were "moody" today.

Strong downstream winds today.  A few BWO were out this afternoon. The AJ worked this morning, first time this season.

What Happens When a Client Cancels a Trip?

 My wife and I go fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 We used a double nymph rig in the morning.  Caught them on the 2 bit hooker.

After lunch, we used a dry dropper.  Caught 2 on the dry and all the rest on the
2 bit hooker.

Hooker Day

The river was gin clear today, the fish were active off and on.  Most of the fish hit the red hooker. A down stream most of the day.

New Day

Snow over night made for some beautiful trees.  The river was gin clear this morning,
Snowing at the take out this afternoon.

 The fish were on today.
