3 days at Spinney Reservoir

 Darlene and I had great fishing days on the lake.

 The wind was NOT an issue for 3 days.  That's unusual.

A guy fishing close to us caught this 40 inch pike on a fly rod.  WOW!!!!

Guides day on Spinney

 First on the lake this morning.

 The fish were willing to play today.

 Lucas was happy with this football.

 A lot of bugs out this morning.

 Alex got in the action.

No wind today, started at 5:30am till 2:00pm with no wind, mark this day down..

Spinney

 First fish on a guide trip on Spinney today.

I got to fish today.  It nice a calm now but the WIND did blow today.

Runoff

Runoff has started!!!  First guide trip on Spinney in the morning.  We will see how long the runoff is going to be this year.  Maybe June 25th..

Cindi Bought Dinner

 This is the first fish that Cindi caught with her new fly rod.

 This rainbow caused Cindi to have to buy dinner  (largest fish).

Guides Trip

 Lucas started and finished the day using streamers.  He was successful!!!

 Alex got in the action using streamers.  Both Alex and Lucas did all the rowing. 
The senior citizen got to fish all day.

I finally had to change this streamer.  It was completely worn out.
It was a great day to be on the river with 2 good friends.

Back On The River

 Don was every successful today on dries..  The Caddis were coming out mid day..

First trip to Spinney

 First Spinney for 2014

 Landed many fish this size. The big buck and hen were out on the feed.

10 minutes before the WIND blew us off.  The weather was COLD most of the time.

Another good caddis day!

 The next 2 days are predicted to be cooler.  This will slow down the run-off. 
There still is a lot of snow in the mountains.

The caddis' were around Swissvale today.  Some nice fish were taken on the dry/dropper rig and also the double dry rig.

Another Day of Caddis

Jim and Joe enjoy the dry fly action today.  We did have a fair share of  WIND.
