Overnight Backpacking Trip

Darlene is planning on doing overnight backpacking trips while climbing some peaks in Colorado.  I took her for a practice run.... hiking uphill with her 25 pound pack,
filtering water from a creek, setting up her high tech tent, and cooking dinner on her new jet boil.  We had a good time.

Started out with dry/dropper got a few fish.  Went to the Black Woolly Bugger, game on!!!  Nice lunch after a morning of rowing big water.. Thank Mike and Mike!!

 The river flow was 2260 cfs.

The fish are HUNGRY.  The fish are 6" off the bank.  16.2 miles today in 5 hours today.

Past Week at Spinney

We had some good days and some not so good days at the lake. Very body caught a BIG fish.  The calibrates are starting to appear now.

The wind started blowing at 7:15 this morning which made it difficult to cast. 
That meant a LOT of tangles.

Trips on Spinney

 Yesterdays guide trip "netted" several father/son doubles.

 My friend Kevin came fishing with me on Monday.  There was a good hatch of chironomids. 

 Chironomids all over the outhouses.

 Alex fished with us and the wind BLEW!!!!!

 In lake fishing, it's nice to see the backing on the reel.

Many nice cutbows were caught in the last 4 days of fishing.
