Two Days

The last two days at the ranch looking at all of the new calves. Rick and I went out for a drive and got stuck had to turn around. Spook definitely has his winter coat on.

Darlene and I ski the bumps at Copper Mountain all day.

New Raft

Open a bottle of 1975 champagne to christen the new raft. The fishing was very good today on this float.

Mid Day

30°at noon today, the fish liked the sun. The Fish Spotter was right in the middle of things today. Had ice on the guides most of the day.

Good Friend

goodbye to a dear friend today. I spent over 1000 days on the water with this friend, and landed many fish for clients.

New Area

Went up to check out a new area to ski. We went up to check out the slope on the second picture did not take our skis will ski it later.

Warm weather yesterday. It was great to be out in summer like weather. The fishing was great. No wind !!

Heavy Snow

Skied the heavy powder today. The wind was howling most of the day.

Monday's Outing

Spent time during the Super Bowl tying up some new Arkansas River Stone flies. The fish were taking Arkansas River Stone fly before the wind came up.

Snowshoes into Waterdogs today. It was a nice hike.

1975 Bottle Champagne

First float for 2017. Alex and I floated from 166 to Salida East today. We fished with the Arkansas River Stonefly and had a very successful day. The weather was perfect today
