A Fall Float

The 'Fish Spotter' is waiting for the release of this fish.
This was ESPN Film's moment. A big mouth came up
and in slow motion it inhaled the yellow PMX.
The water was so clear you could see all the action.

I added this raccoon to the list of animals I have seen on the river.

Wade Fishing

The 'Fish Spotter' stuck out her tongue at me because she had
to go wade fishing for 3 days. She would rather be on the boat.
The above picture is what the fish are feeding on now.
This fish took a size 20 pheasant tail.
The fish are also still hitting the PMX's.

A Bright Sunny Day On The Arkansas River

Fishing was good but the catching was slow above Badger Creek.
Below the rapid the catching picked up.
Jim fooled this fish with a yellow PMX.
Jerry landed this one using a flashback pheasant tail.
The clarity is increasing and therefore the fish are spooky.
There were strong downstream winds in the afternoon.

Full Day Wade Trip

John landed this colorful cutbow on a PMX.
This brown was surprised by the hook of a hot-wire prince.
Barbara still has the rubber legged hopper in this fishes mouth.
This is the first brown trout Barbara has ever caught. Nice job!!!!
Road construction hindered the "catching" today.
You could feel the vibrations of the big trucks through the rocks
we were standing on. Surely the fish felt it????
