J.V. to Ruby Mountain Float

There weren't any other tracks in the snow on the way into the put-in.  Here is the J.V. launch site.
The water had dropped to 400cfs.  It made for a lot of driving around rocks.
Strong upstream winds brought sweat to Lucas' brow.

Day 2 The Same Float As Day 1

The morning started out cold.  There was a cold downstream wind.
The rainbows went after the Two Bit Hooker.
Brian caught many browns today.
Brian was using a 2 nymph rig... the A.R.P. and the Two Bit Hooker.
This was the last fish caught for the afternoon.
The air temperature had warmed up to 52 degrees.

53 Degrees Today

This cutbow couldn't resist the Arizona Prince.  The weather was outstanding today.
As they say, it was the calm before the storm.
Once a fish goes Hooker, they don't go back!
