618 cfs

Lucas gave a thumbs up after he had stuck Alex in the cheek with his streamer.
He did draw blood.  Alex said that paybacks are hell!
The river came up 60cfs overnight and picked up a lot of silt
so we had to throw streamers.
One of the pluses today was that there was a hatch of blue wings.

3/13/2014 Float

Johnson's Village to Ruby Mtn.        Lucas used a dry/dropper set up.
Stopped in this eddy.  Caught 2 nice rainbows here.
This was one of them.  Lucas used a chubby on the top and a flash back pheasant tail.

Todays Float

61 degrees at the take-out.  Fished dry-droppers all day.
Saw LOTS of people on the river.  And as usual, the red two bit hooker was working today.
I did catch a couple on the new silk stone fly.
I was the fisherman all day today.  Rachel was my guide.

First Gude Trip for 2014

 First fish caught.
John is always happy when he lands a nice fish.
We had to fish off of a strike indicator.  Yellow stone fly and then different colored midges on the bottom.
The weather was beautiful!!!

Todays Float

Darlene had fun catching fish today.
I worked on getting my blisters going for the season.
This rainbow was the fish of the day!  It took a red two bit hooker.
The Fish Spotter likes to look at the fish face to face.
