A 6am Start

Pat is waiting for the next strike.
It was an absolutely beautiful morning.  The fish were very active on a double dry set-up.
This is the biggest brown that Pat will probably land on this river--18 and 1/2 inches.

Next time I'll duck.

Tom caught all of his fish on a PMX foam hopper.
Phil fished all day with a gray colored hopper.

4 Day Fishing Vacation

We ventured to Tarryall Reservoir.  Caught some nice fish.
Stephan showed up with flip flops on his feet and at 7am we were fighting ice build up on the guides.
However, the weather warmed up nicely and Stephan caught the heck out of the fish.
The 3 of us laughed together all morning!!!
This is the last Monday that Stephan will be able to go fishing, because he is moving on to a new job.
ArkAnglers should miss him.  I know I will miss him.  He has been a loyal friend for 4 and 1/2 years.
This is the hatch "caddis hatch" that we got to fish on Spinney.
And of course, Darlene had to catch the biggest fish.
Our friend Frank got to spend one of the days that we were on the lake with us.
We had fun!
3 days at Spinney with this kind of weather was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mama's Day To Row

Larry tried out a new articulated streamer today.
He was acting like a ninja dude showing me his fish.
I was practicing my rowing skills.  The river level was high enough so I didn't hit too many rocks.
The Fish Spotter was relaxing.  She wasn't worried.

Wooly Bugger Day

The river came up a 80 c.f.s. and was kind of discolored today.
Steve's arm was tired after casting buggers all morning.
We got caught in a severe rain storm towards the end of the trip.

Dave caught more rainbows than he ever has.

This was Jesse's first float trip.  Said he learned a lot today and wants
to come back and fish the Arkansas again.
